Welcome Message

Dear Seeking Sister,

I created SeekingSisters.com to glorify God by sharing what He has been doing in my life and continues to do.  From an early age I’ve felt two of my spiritual gifts are teaching and writing.  I haven’t practiced either to the degree I’ve been called.

SeekingSisters.com is my first attempt at trying to align my spiritual gifts with God’s Will.  It’s an exciting journey, but an intimidating one.  Putting together a meaningful blog that might spread God’s Word in a relevant way has been on my heart for a long time.

Being overwhelmed about what to share, how to share, and even why share fueled years of procrastination. Through fasting and prayer, I’ve been able to create a simplified plan to get started.

By sharing my personal testimony as well as my sobriety story is where I decided to start.  Those are significant events in my life where God came to my rescue in big ways.   The goal now is to let the Holy Spirit work in me to use my education in Christian Counseling and my personal Bible study to share my thoughts on a variety of topics.

Thank you for taking time to read this welcome message.  I will routinely pray for my fellow Seeking Sisters.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a question for me or have something you’d like me to pray about.

In His Grip,

Tammy McDaniel

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
